Maggie is actively engaged in promoting Democratic values and reaches out to multiple communities.Maggie is an officer in the San Diego Democratic Women's Club and an elected delegate to the California State Democratic Convention. She actively works to share information with Democrats in the Rolando area and beyond about candidates, issues, and other Democratic concerns; and she works steadfastly to involve people of all cultural backgrounds and ethnicities in the Democratic process. On a personal note, Maggie is co-grandparenting her 15-year old granddaughter, Morgan, with her spouse, Pat Washington. For both Pat & Maggie, an important part of grandparenting is exposing Morgan to Democratic principles in action. |
