     Are you tired of politics as usual? If so, then I ask for your vote on June 8.

     Professional politicians on the Council have not delivered for us. Instead of finding creative solutions, they've turned to massive budget cuts that threaten city services and public safety. Their message seems to be - "times are tough, deal with it." My message to you is - it's time for a change.

     I am a chemist and a small businessman of 20 years in San Jose. I serve on the Santa Clara County Health Advisory Commission and have helped families through my work on Santa Clara's Resources for Families Commission and my non-profit, Vietnamese American Community Services.

     During my years running the Tully Medical Clinic and Pharmacy, I have listened to hundreds of San Jose families express concerns about the economy, health care, public safety and their community. I believe I can bring this neighborhood perspective to the Council, and make sure that all of our voices - from every community and every background - are heard. On the Council, I'll work to create jobs, improve public safety, help our schools and provide health care relief.
