Education and Qualifications:
     A native of the Cambrian Park area, my campaign is a grassroots effort, which focuses on the strength of our community to be innovative and creative in meeting the challenges facing our city. I'm not a career politician nor one who is part of the establishment. Rather, l'm your neighbor.
     As a younger candidate running, many have questioned my desire to pursue local office, and yet my response is quite simple. I'm keenly aware of the growing debt facing our nation, the potential bankruptcy of our state and the effect these factors have had on our local area. Our community is faced with unemployment/underemployment, continuing foreclosures, increasing taxes and dwindling services. Families and businesses are struggling. Frankly, I believe we can do better, but not without sacrifice, which must start with our governing body being fiscally accountable.
     As I prepare to graduate from Santa Clara University, where I'm a senior Accounting Major, I'm invested in doing what's right for our neighborhoods, businesses, schools and our first responders. I'm proud of the 9th District, which is my home, and am committed to serving our district with honesty, integrity and values.
