San Bernardino County Auto Theft Task Force Vertical prosecution assignment, tasked with prosecuting organized auto-theft rings; chop-shop operators; and other auto-theft related crimes on countywide basis. Also litigated civil suits to forfeit & destroy nuisance vehicles. Close coordination with task force officers, and outside agencies. Grant reporting responsibility.

2007 + 2008. California Multijurisdictional Methamphetamine Enforcement Team Unit Assigned to vertically prosecute all cases submitted by the San Bernardino County Sheriff's High Intensity Crime Impact Team & Methamphetamine Lab Team. Handling every stage of proceedings including review, filing, preliminary hearing, preand post-trial motions, jury or court trial, sentencing, probation hearings and probation violation hearings. Responsible for maintenance of grant funding & reporting requirements.

2003 + 2007. Marijuana Suppression & Prosecution Grant Unit + Lead Attorney Coordinated with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Marijuana Eradication Team. Vertically prosecuted major felony marijuana cases of all types, including cultivation, trafficking, sales, and location maintenance. Opposed improper assertions of California's Medical Marijuana Defense. Coordinated closely with city, county, state, and federal agencies. Responsible for maintenance of grant funding & reporting requirements.

2002 + 2003. Narcotics Enforcement Unit Prosecuted felony narcotics violations, predominately clandestine methamphetamine laboratories, and distribution of methamphetamine, methamphetamine precursors, cocaine base, P.C.P. & heroin.

2000 + 2002. Juvenile Delinquency Prosecution Unit Prosecuted juvenile delinquent offenses, including both felony and misdemeanor conduct. Coordinated with judges, probation officers and defense counsel to achieve beneficial dispositions for delinquent minors. Worked closely with child witnesses and victims of juvenile crime. Accepted responsibility as sole prosecutor for San Bernardino County Sheriff's Graffiti Task Force. Assisted involved law enforcement officers in qualifying as expert witnesses in California Superior Courts.

1999 + 2000. Felony Preliminary Hearing & Misdemeanor Trial Deputy Dually assigned to conduct felony preliminary hearings and misdemeanor jury trials of all sorts. Included litigating misdemeanor appeals.

San Bernardino County Public Attorney's Association + San Bernardino, California 2004 + 2005. Director at Large. Served pro bono as elected Director at Large for the corporate labor union comprised of Deputies District Attorney, Deputies Public Defender, Child Support Prosecutors, and Legal Research Attorneys.

Franscell, Strickland, Roberts & Lawrence ~ Pasadena, California 1997 - 1998. Law clerk. Duties included such tasks as legal research, writing, discovery, and drafting of pleadings. Firm's practice specializes in §1983 federal and state civil defense representation in excessive force, police misconduct, employment discrimination & harassment, and other governmental tort cases. Clientele consisted of municipal governments, county supervisors, peace officers, and district attorneys.
