My Background

By Erin Elizabeth Kunkle

Candidate for Member, Republican Party Party County Central Committee; County of Orange; State Assembly District 70

This information is provided by the candidate
As a young college woman, I studied Political Science at Biola University and quickly discovered a passion for politics. During my undergraduate studies, I did several internships. My first was with a law firm but it was the second internship, with Republican Congressman Ed Royce, that really fanned my political flame. As a stay-at-home mother of 4 kids, my political involvement has been limited over the last several years but my passion for public affairs has only grown. And now I'm ready to get off the sidelines and back in the game.

The first step is to become an elected member of the Republican Orange County Central Committee (http://www.ocgop.org/about/committee/). This position will enable me to assist and mobilize the Republican Party of Orange County and engage people in my community about significant issues like:

- the direction of the Republican Party
- the role of a limited government
- the taxation of our hard-working citizens
- the fiscal responsibility of government
- the education of our children
- the protection of our rights and freedoms
- the life of innocent unborn human beings
- the United States Constitution

I'm thrilled for this opportunity to serve my community and my country. And I'll see you at the primary polls on June 8th!
