FRANK SCAVO
Frank Scavo is a lifelong resident of Northeastern Pennsylvania. Frank began to develop his keen business sense and work ethic at the age of ten, when he worked day and night with his Grandfather Frank Sr. at the Wilkes-Barre Drive-In. The Scavo family has been involved in many successful private entrepreneurial businesses. Franks dad, Frank Scavo Jr. owned Francesco's Restaurant in Moosic, Pennsylvania. Independent businesswomen, including Frank's mother Henrietta, capitalized on opportunity with Lady Vogue figure salon, and Frank's wife Caren's Hair Salon were huge successes for over twenty years. Frank Scavo attended Old Forge High School, and graduated from Keystone University with an Associate's degree in business management. Professional development courses include the Dale Carnegie Course in Human Relations and Karass Partners "Effective Negotiations" courses. Civic duties included eight years of service as a Director and President on the Old Forge School Board. Frank also presided as Budget and Finance Chairman, bringing in the science wing building project "on time and on budget with zero corruption", and was Contract Negotiations Chairmain during one of our state's longest teacher strikes. Frank has never shunned confrontation or tough decisions. Frank was also Chairman of "Voice of the People", a grass roots, Pro-America group which secured the right to gather to express "Free Speech" without permits in the city of Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Frank Scavo currently manages LKQ Keystone in Old Forge, Pennsylvania. LKQ Keystone is America's 58th fastest growing company, and is the proud recipient of the "2009 Pennsylvania Right to Work" Ronald Regan Award. Frank Scavo currently resides in Old Forge with his wife Caren, daughter Sarah Angelina, 12, and son Frank, 9. Frank's goal is to provide leadership and critical thinking to destroy the paradigm of "Politics as usual" in both our state and federal government with the hope of taking back America! |
