My father, the late Lester Jamison was a D-Day veteran of the famed 101st Airborne Division, the original "Band of Brothers"
After World War 2 he returned home to marry my mother, Florence Thompson Jamison, who was training as an Army nurse.
Florence continued her training, and went on to work as a Registered Nurse at the Clarks Summit State Hospital for nearly 30 years.My mother is now a very active 87 years old, and still resides in her home. I am the second of four children,three boys and one girl.
I am a divorced father of two adult children,Kristy and Lee.
I am very proud of them, and they are both currently in college, with Kristy graduating this year. They, like so many other young adults, represent the promise of the future.
