From 1967 to 1993 I was the pastor of a church which grew from 30 to about 1,000, over my tenure. With a K-12 school, Seminary level School of Theology, book store, print shop, and radio ministry, I managed the church operations with 29 employees, dealing with salaries, budgeting, insurance, facility construction and program development. In 1994 I founded Biblical Family Ministries Inc. and have for the last 16 years traveled the U. S. and Canada, speaking on family life, finances, leadership and problem solving. I have served as President of the American Council of Christian Churches, a nation wide multi denominational organization, and continue on the Executive Committee. The organization is an endorsing agent for military chaplains. My ACCC affiliation has afforded me the opporuntiy to testify at congressional hearings on gays in the military as well as Social Security issues.
I have been to the Middle East on many occasions including Israel, Jordan and Lebanon; also to the Far East and Europe. These opportunities have given me understanding of the people, cultures and politics of those countries.
My 42 years of life and professional experience have equipped me to deal with people and issues in both the private and public setting. This is my strength, because the problems in Washington are ultimately people, who need to be challenged, confronted, and held accountable regarding the principles of life and sound government that are needed to keep America great.
