National Experience for Our Community
Nona Ullman will bring 20 years of educational experience as an educational and management consultant to the Chappaqua School Board, combined with the passion and commitment of a dedicated parent to three children currently attending Chappaqua schools.
As School Board Member, Nona will act strategically, responsibly, and in our collective interest to address key district opportunities over the next three years:
1. Hiring and working with a new superintendent
2. Negotiating the union contract when it expires
3. Continuing to maintain an excellent education while showing fiscal restraint in this economic downturn
A plan for every education tier:
- Elementary schools:
- Update the report cards to better reflect our children's skills
- Provide a more individualized focus
- Middle schools:
- Provide more self-directed learning opportunities to better engage students
- Provide more opportunities to create a sense of community belonging
- Horace Greeley High School:
- Provide students with more experiential project-based learning, such as internships, senior projects, and presentation opportunities
- Create an open dialog between teachers, students and parents on course quality
When it comes to our children, experience matters. Nona Ullman is committed to applying her professional skills as a strategic advisor in the field of education, for the benefit of our kids.

- Former National K-12 Education lead and managing director at KPMG Consulting
- Assisted over 50 educational and government agencies in 16 states (most recently Greenwich Public Schools, the New York State Retirement System, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation)
