Accessible, Responsive GovernmentBy Scott MalsinCandidate for Member, City Council; City of Culver City | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
One of the things that sets Culver City apart from Los Angeles is the fact that City government is truly accessible to each and every one of us."One of the things that sets Culver City apart from Los Angeles is the fact that City government is truly accessible to each and every one of us." Whether it's at the Culver City Music Festival or the grocery store, Scott is listening. Each and every Council meeting, Scott is there with an open mind and the best interests of Culver City at heart. You have to be more than a good listener to be a great public servant, though. You have to be an effective advocate. Scott has helped parents improve educational opportunities and traffic safety at our schools. He has protected neighborhoods from construction noise and cut through traffic. He has helped volunteer groups achieve their goals, resolved countless constituent concerns, and implemented innovative ideas brought to him by Culver City residents. You need to know how to get things done to make a difference. Scott knows how to get things done. He knows that the best way to keep people connected to their government is to help them to make a difference. Scott is always working for the best interests of Culver City + not for special interests. He's always there for us + energetic, respectful, knowledgeable and effective. |
