Bringing a perspective that blends the issues of the senior population and the responsibility we have to our children for a quality education.To be successful as a school board we must have an acute interest in the performance and quality of the educational system in Methacton and be a representitives of tax payers. As School Directors, We have a responsibility to supply our children with a quality education, and a responsibility to our community to be fiscally responsible in how that is done. This means that the board needs to bring our collective combination of work, personal and school district experience to the board in our endeavor to control cost and supply a quality education to the children. Quality does not mean spending more money as money alone does not insure quality, rather it is a plan that has a commitment to use all the resources wisely, getting the most out of every dollar and getting it right the first time. I believe in teamwork, cooperation, due diligence, open communication, honesty and a commitment to our responsibilities to do what is in the best for all. Our children need the very best we can effectively give them. |
