Our responsibilty for setting policy is crucial yet Penn-Delco's Policy Manual is incomplete and outdated. We cannot govern efficiently nor fairly without revised and up-to-date policies. This endeavor should be first and foremost on the board's agenda.

Our school board needs to reflect and enhance the community's 'vision for education'. Planning for the future of the district should be regularly addressed and revisited. Maximum community input and discussion is needed.

Evaluating progress is critical for success. The Board needs to devote time to study audits, curriculum, and testing to monitor student and district performance and progress.
