My Pledge of Accountability as an Elected Official
I, Michael Schleigh, pledge that should I be so honored as to be elected as a representative of the Good People of the Borough of Lansdowne I will at all times act in accordance with the dignity and seriousness of the position, holding myself to the high level of ethics and legality. I shall further:

  • Give full deliberation on every issue of public concern brought before me for consideration, including listening and weighing all citizen's point of views in decision-making:

  • Never put my personal gain before issues of pubic importance;

  • Be a voice for those who may not otherwise be heard before the table of government;

  • Reach out to all communities in my jurisdiction to insure full and adequate representation;

  • Endeavor to work on behalf my constituents with other governmental agencies;

  • Endeavor to work with other governmental agencies to foster mutually beneficial regional developments and policies;

  • Cut waste and maximize tax dollars while insuring that valued services are provided to constituents.
