Candidate for
School Director; Haverford Township School District

Member of the Haverford Township School Board since December 1993. I have served as the Chair of both the Education Committee and the Facilities Committee for many years. I also served as Vice President of the School Board.

As a graduate of the Haverford School District, I have a unique perspective over my lifetime of living in and serving our school district. As the mother of two sons who both graduated from our district I served on numerous committees during their years in school. My sons were involved in sports, music, radio station, student government and fundraising which opened my eyes to the vast number of activities offered by our schools. One of my goals is to maintain the variety of activities as our population grows, shifts or changes.

As a business person, I bring to the board both organizational skills and common sense. I have, with my business partner, run my own company for the past ten years during rather difficult economic times and maintained a growing customer base.

As a fundraiser for cystic fibrosis, I know how to push people, draw them into a program and get the best and most out of their performance.
