Children come first in all school districts. The time has come to make our children's future first as we make decisions for North Allegheny's advancement in the 21st century. Individuality in the work places is no longer acceptable or profitable. Collaborative work and creative cognitive thinking are essential. Tomorrow's workplace and skills are unknown. One thing we do know is that technology is the cornerstone of the marketplace an in education. Information systems, programming, forward thinking and risk taking are skills our children will need in order to compete in a global market. Finally, knowing more than two languages is esential for tomorrow's adult. Together we can make decisions that will nurture, guide, and provide our students with the necessary skills forsuccess in the 21st cenury. |
