The current School Board has reduced the millage in each of the last two school years, 07-08 and 08-09.
For the last eight years North Allegheny has controlled the budget by a variety of measures. We are one of the only Districts using Zero Based Budgeting. Each year our administrators start at zero to build their specific budget, no one starts with last years budget and adds a little. On the revenue side we search out grants that are advantageous to our educational programs, this past year we received grants close to $3,000,000.
