Council Member; City of Cheviot; Ward 1

My name is Ryan Zech and I am 31 years old. I grew up on Bruestle Avenue where I had lived until I bought my first home on Homelawn Avenue.

I attended Cheviot Elementary School for Kindergarten and then attended Saint Ignatius School for grades 1-8. I graduated from St. Ignatius in 1993.

I am a 1996 graduate of La Salle High School. While there, I was active with the marching band, Key Club, concert band, and with the yearbook.

I graduated from Thomas More College in Northern Kentucky in December of 2001 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. While there, I was involved with the Thomas More College Irish Club. I also worked as the Audio-Visual Coordinator for the college while I attended. I remained in that position after graduation until June of 2004.

For the last 2 years, I have worked for the Cincinnati Insurance Companies in the Information Technology Division. I am responsible for troubleshooting problems with our software and working with various divisions of the company to correct any functional problems.

I am a Graduate of the Cheviot Citizen's Police Academy. I was the former Cheviot Cable Access Coordinator. I was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Cheviot-Westwood Community Association (CWCA).

I was elected and have served as the first ward Council Member since 2006 and served as the Clerk of Council for the 4 years before that.
