1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)
I have a strong commitment and belief in our community's excellence in educating our children. I also bring four years of Board experience and learning about our District's educational process focusing on Finances and Student Achievement. I have two graduated daughters and one son currently at Wyoming High School.2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)
As a current Wyoming BOE member, I support our schools in providing an education that fosters the achievement of an individual student's excellence. The way we educate continues to change. It's now about exceeding state standards, global influences, 21st century skills, and meeting the needs of individual learners. Real educational work is never done, and we need to keep supporting our teachers and administrators to do their best in an ever-changing academic environment. Our challenge is to accomplish all this, and be fiscally responsible to our stakeholders and our community, parents and taxpayers.
