1. What are your Qualifications for Office? (50 word limit)
Twelve years experience on Mt. Healthy City Council, involved in writing legislation for teen curfew ordinance that is currently in existence for the City of Mt. Healthy, helped spearhead block watch program, resident of the Mt. Healthy area since 1964.2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)
Ask Council for additional police officers. Be a voice to remind council of its obligations for safety, which includes the teen curfew and blockwatch program. Propose Tax incentives for businesses. Ensure the welfare of the citizens of Mt. Healthy.3. What two actions would you promote to enhance city revenue or decrease city expenditures in order to balance the city budget, given the current economic conditions? (100 word limit)
Propose tax incentives to attract new businesses. Take advantage of federal monies available through grants to help pay for needed city improvements.4. What steps should the local government take to ensure that the quality of rental property meets minimum legal standards? (100 word limit)
Hold property owners respsible to maintain their rental properties by adhering to City standards set by ordinances and codes.
