2. What plans do you have to address your top three priorities? (100 word limit)
|
Answer from Brandon H. Wiers:
A Comprehensive Strategic Plan, as I envision it, would include Goals and Strategies with associated Time-lines and Metrics in the following categories: Academic achievement, Behavior/Character training, District marketing, Financial planning, and Community involvement. Parts of this have been undertaken, but are out of date; some are simply non-existent, e.g., Marketing and Community involvement. An up-to-date comprehensive plan requires a program of Benchmarking and determining Best Practices, which can be inaugurated through personal contacts with highly rated nearby districts, plus friends of the district with broad public school⎯urban and suburban⎯consulting credentials.
