Joe Muratore is committed to making sure that Modestans have the support they need from the City Council to meet the challenges they face.

Creating a more economically vibrant community, enhancing public safety, planning for Modesto's future, improving neighborhoods...these are the things that Joe is focused on. It's these concepts that form the foundation of his work on behalf of our community and the reason why he is running for Modesto's City Council.

A life-long Modestan, Joe has created, led, organized, or participated in many local groups and boards that are focused on transforming this community. These include: The La Loma Neighborhood Association, Commonwealth Modesto, the Business Advisory Board at CSU Stanislaus, the Modesto Rotary Club, the Salvation Army Red Shield Center, the Boy Scouts of America's Yosemite Council, the Land Use Committee at the Stanislaus County Alliance, and the Community Outreach Board for the Gallo Center for the Arts.

A small business owner, Joe and a business partner own Sentinel Rock Realty Trust and Benchmark Commercial Real Estate Services on 13th Street in Modesto. They are asset and investment managers, brokers, and advisors for owners of commercial real estate.

Joe holds a Graduate Certificate in Management from Harvard University (a 1 year, full-time, graduate-level, extension program), a Bachelors Degree from CSU Stanislaus, and an Associates Degree from Modesto Junior College. He also holds the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) real estate designation and a California Brokers License.

Joe and his wife, Sandra, live in Modesto's La Loma Neighborhood.
