Palo Alto's quality of life values including environmental, social and economic must be protected.Palo Alto Issues. 1. High Speed Rail: I believe that High Speed Rail, if done correctly, has the potential to create new transportation and community connectivity and will be beneficial to the community and region. 2. Fiscal: Palo Alto's long term economic sustainability is dependent on prudent management of diverse revenue sources and efficient management of City programs and services. I support a sustainable City budget requiring a combination of expenditure reduction and new revenue sources. 3. Environmental Protection and Sustainability: Environmental protection means caring for the resources under your stewardship. With Palo Alto, that means not only the management of its parks and open spaces, but also the stewardship of its financial and social resources.
If elected, I will provide the leadership necessary to achieve sustainable use of Palo Alto resources in a manner that maintains and increases the long term quality of life in Palo Alto and its surrounding region |
