Candidate for
Council Member; City of Sunnyvale; Seat 1

• As council member for the last four years I have serve as Vice Mayor for one year and Mayor for last two years.
• I have served as a Commissioner on the Parks and Recreation Commission.
• I chaired the Charter Review Committee concerning the issue of a directly elected mayor.
• I have served on a council appointed advisory committee to study the paramedic service to Sunnyvale.
• I am currently serving as Mayor to the Green Ribbon Task Force and Mayor's Blue Ribbon Committee on Paramedic Service.
• I have work with Cities budgets for 26 years and understand City operations.
• I have served on the Peninsula Policy Partnership Grand Boulevard Task Force.
• I have served on the following League of California Cities committees: Public Safety and Crime Prevention Policy and Advocacy Committee, Home land Security Sub- Committee and now serving on the Public Employees Relations Committee.
• For the U.S, Conference of Mayors, I represent Sunnyvale on the Children, Health and Humans Services and the International Affairs Standing Committee.
