- The Seaside Citizens League for Progress is holding a candidates forum 7 to 9 p.m. September 23, 2009 for candidates seeking several local offices.
Scheduled to speak are candidates in Trustee Area 6 for the Monterey County Board of Education, Trustee Area 1 for the Monterey Peninsula College board, Trustee Area 1 for the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District board and District 2 in the Monterey Peninsula Water Management District.
The forum will be in the multipurpose room at Villa Del Monte, 1670 Broadway Ave in Seaside. The public is invited.
