Candidate for
Board of Directors; Crescenta Valley County Water District

I am running for re-election to the Crescenta Valley Water Board so that I can continue keeping our water and wastewater rates as low as possible while still responsibly overseeing the careful expenditure of taxpayer dollars in maintaining reliable water and sewer facilities. Also to come up with a supplemental source of water supply either by recycling or reclaiming water through wastewater or capturing our storm water during the wet years and storing into our groundwater basins for later use.

My priorities have always been fiscal responsibility, excellent customer service, and to provide the highest quality water and wastewater services.

I am a strong supporter of our water conservation efforts and District's rebate programs which includes high efficiency clothes washers, residential drought resistant landscape (synthetic turf), high efficiency toilets, and weather-based irrigation systems.

Every decision I make, as I have for the last eight years, will be based on what is best for the Crescenta Valley community.

We are facing a very crucial time in California and water is one of the central issues. The Crescenta Valley community needs a person who understands the issues of water, wastewater, water supply and water quality, a person who has the proven experience and leadership on the water board, a person who has long community service in Crescenta Valley, and a person who has the experience working with government agencies and elected officials.
