Assistant Superintendent for Student Services--Barbara was responsible for overseeing grant monies for Special Education and School Safety. She also developed an innovative new District program for autistic students that saved taxpayers' $280,000.

School Safety Advocate--Barbara implemented and enforced tough student disciplinary standards as Director of Behavioral Intervention for the Antelope Valley High School District. She Supervised the Safe Schools program to combat gang activity and campus crime.
