GIUSEPPE "JOE" VENEZIANO Age: 34 Occupation: Business Administrator

As a native son who was born in Montebello and family history goes back to the early 1970's, I am concerned with the infighting and scandals at city hall.

Montebello has a $10 million dollar budget deficit and is on the verge of bankruptcy. Our own Police Officers are suing the city for $30 million dollars due to unethical management practices. Our trash fees increased, graffiti and crime is rising, and businesses are leaving.

As a taxpaying resident, I am embarrassed and disappointed with the negative publicity Montebello has been receiving.

My 5 Point Plan to turn our city around includes:

Uniting and not dividing our city. Bring consensus style of leadership. Support Senior Citizen Programs. Stop crime and graffiti by utilizing effective law enforcement strategies. Revitalize and attract new businesses.

My experience and education includes:

Montebello family businessman, Montebello Board of Realtors Member, Vice President of St. Benedicts Catholic Federation, Co-Founder of the Montebello Fall Festival.

Master Degree in Business Administration, Bachelor Degrees in Management and Mass Media Communication.

St. Benedict Elementary and Don Bosco High School graduate.
