Candidate for
Council Member; City of Santa Fe Springs

In struggling economic times, we need to assist City residents choosing to enroll in our Community Services Program with affordable,cost-effective options. I am supportive of new, creative,but financially responsible programs for resident of all ages throughout every City division. I would like to work with city council to bring a first rate market to our City. With two new housing developments and over 500 new homes, it is important to accommodate the needs of both current and future residents. I would also like to promote development of new restaurants in the City. This would allow City families and friends to enjoy dinner as well as create revenue to possibly boost the struggling economy. Top priority to our residents is public safety. It is important to keep Santa Fe springs safe. Gang violence should not be tolerated by either residents or vistors to our city. I would like to work with Police Services and the Recreation Services Divisions to develop another team recreation facility in the North section of the City.It is giving back to the community that makes our City the best. My goal is to keep our City moving forward by providing even better services and volunteer opportunities for all. This election year there are three open seats on City Council. I am asking for your support on election Day, November 3, 2009. I look forward to better serving this City as we move forward into the future.
