Political Philosophy for Frank C. Guzman
Candidate for |
As a School Board Member, my goal would be to raise the academic bar for our future generation while minimizing the financial impact to the district. I intend to set and stretch academic targets for students, teachers, administrators, and parents alike. Everyone in the community plays an essential role in weaving a strong academic web. Students' sole job is to learn and make academic progress, take responsibility for actions, and conduct themselves with exemplary behavior as future productive members of society. Teachers, administrators and supporting staff have dedicated their lives to the future of our children but must be held accountable for student progress and find the balance between the District's financial well being and prioritize its activities to be children-centric. Parents also have a job, they can no longer be a spectator in the education of our children but need to roll up their sleeves and grow along with our children. I will work to create a strong partnership between all facets of the school community: students, teachers, administrators, support staff, and the parents while being cognizant of the sensitive financial environment that we are all facing today. Please vote for me, Frank Guzman, to make a difference |
