Governing Board Member; Rowland Unified School District

• I believe school boards should maintain an open and informative dialogue between parents, students, administrators, district staff, school site staff and community members.
• I will commit to establishing a collaborative and respectable partnership between our school board and our community.
• I will hold annual listening tours at our school sites to gather information about what we are succeeding in and what we need to improve on.
• I will diligently strive to maintain a balanced budget.
• My training and experience as a Deputy Sheriff will assist in enhancing school safety throughout our district.
• My goal is to provide an education for our children that will empower them to compete and excel in a global economy and to create a school district that our entire community will be proud of.
• Together we will raise the expectations of our children, lower the dropout rate and prepare our students for the endeavors they choose to take on.
