Mary L. Edwards has over thirty-five (35) years of experience in Business and Subcontract Management, Community Relations and Social Services.

She is currently employed as Executive Director of the Tower of Faith Community Development Corporation, responsible for the organization's consistent achievement of its mission and financial objectives in program development and administration.

She was formerly the Compton Field Representative for the U. S. House of Representatives 37th Congressional District assigned to the late Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald where she also chaired the Congressional Educational Council.

She founded and was the Executive Director of the Potter's House Restoration Program, a non-profit Corporation which offered Youth Prevention/Intervention services, a Homeless Shelter for Adult Males and a Community Food & Clothes Distribution Program.

She retired after 25 years as a Sr. Subcontract Administrator for Rockwell International Aerospace Corporation assigned to Major Subcontracts.

She graduated from Compton Sr. High School, majoring in Business, attended Compton Community College and the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA), majoring in Business Management.

For the past 17 years Mary has been an active, faithful member of the Tower of Faith Evangelistic Church where Dr. Reuben P. Anderson, Sr. is the Senior Pastor. She is a member of Tower Covenant Choir and Emeralds of Faith Women's Choir and is a licensed Evangelist/Missionary through the Church of God in Christ. She is a former Youth Sunday School Teacher and Youth Director. She is a Gospel Recording Artist and has recorded with the Los Angeles Cathedral Choir for 7 years under the leadership of Trenora Parker and has ministered both in word and song throughout the United States.
