Candidate for
Board of Directors; Crescenta Valley County Water District

I am well prepared to be your next Director on the Crescenta Valley Water District Board. I have extensive experience in the water industry. For more than twelve years I have worked in water resource management for the largest provider of drinking water in the United States. I have worked on conservation issues, local water supply projects, water storage programs, infrastructure development, and water quality issues. I have experience in managing large water resource programs and keeping within budgets.

Prior to my current work, I was employed as a consultant to the California Department of Public Health as an Environmental Health Scientist evaluating the impacts and remediation solutions to hazardous waste sites in California. I monitored groundwater contamination plumes, evaluated public health risks, and recommended actions to protect the public. I am also a licensed Professional Civil Engineer, Certified Water Treatment Operator, and Water Distribution Operator.

My educational background compliments my work experience. I graduated from Stanford University with a M.S. degree in Civil Engineer (Environmental Engineering & Science) and earned a B.S. degree in Engineering from California State University, Northridge. I have also supplemented my education with courses from UCLA, UC Berkeley, California State University, Sacramento, and Moorpark College.
