Candidate for
Judge; Magisterial District Court; District 38-1-17

This information is provided by the candidate

I am a candidate for District Judge serving Franconia Township, Hatfield Township, Hatfield Borough, Souderton Borough, and Telford Borough. The position of District Judge requires a competent background in and understanding of the laws of the Commonwealth, including criminal, motor vehicle, and civil law. As a result of my education and law enforcement career, I have the background and understanding to enforce and uphold these laws as your District Judge.

For seven years I have served the Borough of Lansdale as a police officer, and as an adjunct professor of criminal justice and general studies at the Lansdale School of Business. Policing and teaching are a passion of mine, and provide me with the skills, knowledge, and foundations needed to protect the citizens of Montgomery County and the communities I intend to serve as District Judge. While currently pursuing my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership, I continue to advance a level of professionalism and skill the citizens of this county and its communities desire from their public officials. It has always been my goal to utilize these experiences for a greater purpose to better the lives of my fellow citizens. I am confident I will accomplish my goal as your District Judge.

For many of you, your only court experience may be at the District Judge level. In keeping with my oath of office, my solemn pledge to you as your District Judge is to assure that whenever you may need to utilize the District Court, you will be treated with fairness, honesty, and respect in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth.

This community is important to me and my family. It is our home. As your District Judge, I am committed to preserving its tradition of honesty and tranquility.

Remember, this is not my courtroom, but YOUR courtroom. You deserve a steward of justice who will work hard to serve you and uphold the laws I am sworn to protect and advance...today as a police officer and teacher...tomorrow as your District Judge. It is for these reasons that I ask for your support and your vote on May 19, 2009.
