Candidate for
Council Member; City of Los Angeles; District 5

As a lifelong resident of the 5th District, I have seen many changes over the last 30 years. The biggest change, of course, has been how much our city has grown.

As an elected member of both my neighborhood council and homeowner association, I have seen our city fall short on important issues such as traffic, development, and infrastructure. I have also seen how special interests have increased their influence in City Hall.

I want to be your Councilmember because I believe you should have a leader who puts residents first and who recognizes that government should work for you and not for special interests. I also believe you deserve a leader whose main goal is to improve your quality of life and who has a passion for delivering quality city services such as pothole repair, sidewalk repair and tree trimming.

I have drafted a Constituents' Bill of Rights to crystalize what I know all residents deserve from their elected leaders. This bill is my guarantee to you of the service I will provide as your Councilmember.

As I walk door to door throughout the district, I look forward to meeting as many residents as possible, to share my hopes and ideas, and to listen to your concerns.
