I believe in a more open form of government where the general public is able to comment (whether positive or negative) in order to make the community's quality of life the very best.

I believe in our youth and that they truly need more mentors and after school programs to keep them busy, as opposed to kicking cans around in the alley - often fallen prey to gangs and trouble.

I believe that public policy should be based purely on the interet of the constituency, not special interest. I do not believe in being beholden to favorites.

I belive in moderate growth and that redevelopment is a "tool" to help revitalize communities. It should not be used "just to build" and see if businesses will come. Proper planning must proceed development. Just a few thoughts.
