Dear Citizens of Glendale,

I am running for City Council because I have a vision for Glendale as a city that puts its citizens first. laura

Glendale deserves Council Members who are accessible to, and respectful of, the people they serve.

The City faces huge challenges such as balancing a budget shortfall, while maintaining city services and our quality of life. We need to attract and retain businesses, especially those businesses related to arts, culture and the entertainment industry.

Large parts of the city remain under served by parks. The city council must analyze development in terms of the strain it puts on the city's infrastructure, such as traffic and parking. Those who live and do business in Glendale deserve a city council that anticipates challenges and works together to find solutions before they become crises. I pledge to act as a consensus builder on Council, and to abide by the principle that city government exists to serve the people.
