Candidate for
Board Member; Triunfo Sanitation District

After 24 years, it is time for a change. We need NEW leadership to bring back accountability to the Triunfo Board.

I bring substantial business experience and knowledge needed to effectively make decisions that will benefit the residents of our district.

I support an all elected at-large Board. My opponent does not. Currently only 2 of the Board seats are elected. The other 3 are appointed. Board members that may not even live in the district are making decisions that affect your water and your rates.

I would Implement needed changes within the TSD as recommended by the 2006/07 Ventura County Grand Jury Investigation.

I would seek to improve relations between TSD and Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (under the Joint Powers Authority)

I would Improve communication between TSD and local residents.

I would help develop strong financial controls and instill accountability within the district and its relationships with other agencies. The objective is to offer the best services possible at the lowest possible rate.
