Candidate for
Board Member; Moorpark Unified School District

I grew up in the small town of Lamont, CA. I graduated from Arvin High School in 1977. I graduated from Bakersfield College, then from Cal State Northridge, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree as well as a CA Teaching Credential.

My husband and I were married in 1991. We moved from the San Fernando Valley to Moorpark in 1992. We loved the small town feel, the friendly people, and the safe, clean environment of the town. We have lived in Moorpark ever since.

My husband and I have 2 children. Our daughter attends Moorpark High School, and our son attends Flory Academy.

I am currently employed by the Los Angeles Unified School district, where I teach Kindergarten in Chatsworth.
