We should remain focused on the promise which awaits when the city takes over the Army Ammo Plant in two years, retaining the current tenants, who wish to stay -- and expand, and encourage new businesses to come to the Riverbank Business Park, adding their many jobs for Riverbank residents.

Acquiring the base will not only ensure continued industrial jobs in the vicinity of Riverbank, but give businesses who are already here a place to go as they need to expand.
