Governing Board Member; San Miguel Joint Union School District

I grew up in the city of Lompoc,Ca. graduating from Lompoc High School in 1970.

I was in the navy for five years where I traveled abroad and saw a lot of the world. I returned home and found that this is the greatest country a person could live in with the best school systems and system of government in the world.
I am now entering a new chapter in my life, from having a 30 year career at Vandenberg Fire Department to retiring and able to help the local community and schools by representing the people in San Miguel as a School Board Member.

I have been a resident of San Miguel for nineteen years my children attended the local schools and I have supported the local schools by working on fundraisers and annual events in the local community during that time.
I plan on being an open minded representative of the people with a strong emphasis on the needs of the students and parents. I have been a believer in a balanced budget and a strong Puritan ethic of a days work for a days wages.
