This information is provided by the candidate |
I believe in a holistic approach to community involvement.Martin believes that good government begins with principles. My top ten principles are: Individual Freedom; Personal Responsibility; Property Rights; Stronger Families; Domestic Tranquility through National Defense; Government Transparency; Less Government; Accountability; Lower Taxes; and Local Decision Making. Martin believes that a strong Board of Director needs to be knowledgeable and involved with Public Safety; Housing; Safe Neighborhoods; Traffic Improvement; Strong Schools; and development of the Mountain House Legacy. Martin's strong belief in serving others and excellent reputation as a leader have recently led him to become of the few members of newly formed Mountain House Friends of the Library. Safe & Vibrant neighborhoods- We need to invest in and maintain an efficient public safety-network. A common sense approach- As we continue to grow as a city, it is very important to preserve the City's residential qualities, the location and encouragement of business and associated concerns over congestion and quality of life issues. Protecting our environment +As an environmental advocate, it is important to protect our city's quality of life and promote sustainability for further generations. Partnerships in Education + As an educator, I will continue to lead our city's successful partnerships in education through expansion of after school programs. |
