Board Member; Palomar Pomerado Health System; Full Term

I am elected to represent all the people of the community. Once elected I must be able to blend my personal goals, wishes and dreams with what I hear and perceive from the people I have been elected to SERVE YOU! I WORK FOR YOU.

My attributes for the position are honesty and dedication. I know how to listen and I know how to think. By putting these qualities together, I can synthesize ideas and work cooperatively with the community and the other Board Members to reach common ground. Providing care to my patients gives me a special perspective, which has helped me be a more effective Hospital Board Member.

The next four years will be crucial and challenging. The Hospital District Board will need experienced leadership to help guide it through its next phase of development.

The last four years have brought dramatic changes and improvements to our Hospital District. The Hospital District is financially sound and flourishing. We have the best Nursing Care in the region. Our employee relations have dramatically improved. Labor harmony has allowed us to focus more energy on providing high quality of care for all of our patients.

The next four years will be crucial and challenging. The Hospital District Board will need experienced leadership to help guide it through its next phase of development. I remain COMMITTED to the construction of the new hospital, the re-design of Palomar Medical Center into a vibrant medical campus revitalizing the downtown Escondido area, the completion of the expansion of Pomerado Hospital and the "health centers" in Rancho Penasquitos, Ramona, San Marcos and Valley Center. I also remain COMMITTED to guaranteeing access to high quality, affordable care.

I want to continue to serve on the Board as your representative. I am asking for your help and support in my bid for re-election. With your help, we can continue the momentum toward excellence! I would be honored to continue to serve on the Board as your representative.
