Questions & Answers

1. How would you determine that the schools are using federal, state and local funds wisely and fairly and how would you report your findings to the community?

I would base my judgement on the attainment of my goals set when elected.

2. Are the schools offering instruction appropriate to the diverse educational abilities of all the students?

No. Montesorri programs are not being used to effect our primary grade teaching program. ESL must demand of the students with another primary language fluency by the time they leave eighth grade.Students are not being provided the full range of the best education through the classics in literature and instruction.

3. Where do you want the District to be five years from now? What steps should the District take to get there?

1) High School Drop-out rate should be reduced by 5 to 10 percentage points. 2) There should be significant increase in Post Secondary enrollment in vocational or community college schools. 3) Montesorri programs should become available for families who want to take advantage of them. 4) English should be universally applicable after eighth grade.
