· Oversee a team of employees handling all University Government, Community and Media Relations, as well as Marketing, Communications and Publications. · Serve as Public Information Officer for SJSU

2003 + 2007 Stanford Hospital & Clinics Director of Government Relations

· Hired to develop Stanford Hospital & Clinics' first Government and Community Relations department. Managing a budget of more than a half million dollars, developed a Government and Community Relations department that works with clinical and administrative departments of the hospital and its clinics to help build government support and awareness, grassroots community support, brand recognition and media recognition of Stanford Hospital & Clinics as one of the preeminent academic hospitals in the country. · Guided due diligence and entitlement approvals process for acquisition of 360,000 square feet of office space in Redwood City to be converted to outpatient clinics. Led interdisciplinary team through the environmental review process, public hearings before the Planning Commission and City Council, and all community outreach in support of the project approvals.
