Candidate for
Council Member; City of Carpinteria

I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. My "high school sweetheart" of 52 years, Dolores, is a registered nurse. She is employed at Cottage Hospital and, in her spare time, helps socially and emotionally disadvantaged people. We have three grown children and three grandchildren. After living in the San Fernando Valley for many years, we realized the urban encroachment of traffic, noise and overdevelopment was so oppressive that we finally moved to Paradise named: Carpinteria. We started with a small mobile home and finally we purchased a home (with a yard for my dogs). We never looked back until now. I vow not to repeat the out-of-control mistakes that, in my opinion, ruined my original hometown.
