My Vision

During my tenure leading the RSCCD board and our colleges, Santa Ana College and Santiago Canyon College I am pleased with the progress we have made for the taxpayers of our district. I plan to continue to provide the leadership that leads to success for students.

My vision includes:

Continuing to use tax dollars efficiently.

Maintaining one of the lowest administrator to student ratios.

Increasing traditional core academic courses for university transfer.

Increasing technology and vocational training.

Continuing to maximize space and resources to increase the number of students served.

As our colleges grow, I will continue to prioritize educational initiatives to fulfill job training in emerging technological fields (like 3-D animation and graphic design) and to support existing career fields (like health care and law enforcement).

Our latest accomplishments include:

New science building.

Law enforcement academy.

16-room multi-disciplinary classroom building.

Digital Media Center.

Nursing training program.

Maximizing classroom space so for a larger enrollment.

I have dedicated my tenure at Rancho Santiago Community College District to making education accessible to those who wish to improve themselves. Through vision at the board level, our faculty and staff are able to serve students efficiently in award-winning programs.
