Campaign Statement

By Frank Ury

Candidate for Council Member; City of Mission Viejo

This information is provided by the candidate
It has been my extreme honor to serve you on the Mission Viejo City Council. Together, we have accomplished many great things during my first term. Our crime rate remains low and we earned the Safest City in America distinction. The Community Center expansion is complete and being used by residents. The Kids Factory Program is offered to all our schools providing productive after-school programs for our community's youth. My proudest accomplishment was achieving all this without tax increases while simultaneously growing Mission Viejo's budget reserves to record levels. There is still work to be done. In my second term, I pledge to:
Fight to keep our crime rate low
Continue to offer the best park system in Orange County
Keep the Casta Del Sol golf course
Expand our Oso traffic light synchronization program citywide
Keep our city finances in order during these tough economic times
Oppose any tax increases.

I have been endorsed by Mission Viejo Mayor Trish Kelley, Congressman Gary Miller, Congressman Darrell Issa, Assemblywoman Mimi Walters, Orange County Supervisors Patricia Bates and Bill Campbell. I would be honored to receive your vote on November 4th. For more information please visit http://www.frank4mv.com.
