As your Councilman I pledge:

o I will be Tough on crime to keep our City safe. o I will support the Costa Mesa Police Department in fighting Gangs and Graffiti. o I am in favor of intervention/prevention programs for at risk kids. o I will work towards getting our Police Department a better computer software system and the installation of cameras in areas with known gang activity. o I will push OCTA to solve the 55 Freeway debacle for the unanimously preferred "Cut and Cover" proposal. o I will work with our City to create a solution to the traffic concerns on our Eastside o I will vigorously protect Costa Mesa's interests in Banning Ranch. o I will make improving the Westside a priority. o I am NOT in favor of "Eminent Domain". o I will work on strengthening the relationship of our School District and our City to improve the conditions of our fields and establish ONE computer program that can be used by both entities to schedule field use. o I will work with our City, the Sanitation District and Water District to develop a full interagency cooperative arrangement to discuss common goals such as Conservation, Community Security and Fiscal Effectiveness. o I will support the ongoing mission of the Senior Center. o I will work to revitalize our community through innovative solutions. o I will work to lower the cost of government through technology. o I will create a written business plan with other Council Members and our City Staff that has prioritized goals that are fiscally responsible. o I will always be available to listen to YOUR concerns. o I have lived in this community for decades and as a long time Costa Mesa resident I am ready to give back by serving my neighbors. As a successful businessman, I will serve your interests not those of the political bigwigs.
