Our Founding Fathers had it right, "A Government of the People, For the People." Today, it seems like, "A Government for Big Business, Special Interest, and Lobbyists, and forget about the people." I believe that it is inexcusable that a resident of Anaheim has virtually no access to their council members. Our lives are most affected by our local elected officials and they seem only to remember us when they are running for re-election. I have made a commitment to dedicate at least one day a week to meet with Anaheim residents without an appointment at my office at City Hall.
