Parent Involvement

We all know that parent involvement increases the academic success of their children, but how do we accomplish this huge challenge?

My Plan: I would create an incentive program for our parents. All parents that are active in their children's PTA will receive a 10% discount card to shop at Santa Ana Businesses.
1. Parents will increase their involvement in PTA's , where they can be informed of school issues and how they can help their children.
2. The students will be impacted by the parents who are now empowered with information and can make better and more informed decisions about their futures.
3. Santa Ana Businesses will earn 90% of a new customer
4. The city will generate more tax dollars, that could be used for safety, more libraries and more recreation programs, keeping our children safe and using their time in positive ways

I believe this incentive program will create a win-win for our parents, our students, our school and Santa Ana as a whole.
